I am so BEHIND!!!

I am so behind . . . and this face says it all! It has been crazy around here since Christmas. For the past month and a half, we all have been sick at different times and Colin Matthew has been sick twice. He had a super bad sinus infection, constant runny nose, and his latest illness has been Fifths Disease. He is just getting over the Fifths Disease, he was home all last week with Daddy, then Mommy, then Granny Carol and Paw Paw, and then Jo Jo and Papa O and Granny Dotty (who are here for a visit). He ran a high fever for a couple days and then it tapered off to low grade for the last few days, during the high fever he had bright red circles on his face. He looked like Santa Claus! When I took him to the doc, he said that the circles were actually a rash and that C had Fifths Disease, which I had never even heard of! It is a virus, so of course you have to let it run its course, and it is extremely contagious among children . . . Nice :( I am praying that Colin is finished with sickness for a while, he has had enough and so have I!!!

During the sick days, we watched a lot of Phineas and Ferb, Mickey Mouse, and Toy Story 1,2, & 3!!

Colin is 22 months old. He loves to play ball, slide, play with trucks, ride his bike, rake the leaves, lift things, watch movies: Mickey, Toy Story, and his new favorite Despicable Me, bother Percy, be at his daddy's side 24/7 (he only wants his mama when he is sleepy), he is non-stop all day long from 7:00 am until 7:30 pm (with a nap from 1:00-4:00), he talks all the time and repeats everything, he amazes Sean and I daily with what he comes up with, he is tough, he is super independent and he knows what he wants! He still loves his Bubbas and his paci :) His is becoming more little boy and less baby everyday . . . it is sad but wonderful to experience!

Colin loves to eat yogurt, and of course he has to feed himself . . . these pictures are a perfect example of Colin when he is sick. One minute he is fine and playing and the next minute he is whining and crying. The only constant is that he will not allow you to leave the room, you must be in his sights, this goes for whoever is with him (not just mommy)!!

The first week in February, Ryan, Keeley, Reed, Braden, and Kylie came down for a visit. We had a great time hanging out with them. The kids had so much fun. I didn't get to take as many pictures as I would have liked, all the kids had been sick or were getting over being sick, so they weren't always cooperating and I had to work a couple days that they were here. So these are the best I got ;>)

All the kids loved to play in the tent with the balls, poor Kylie was not very happy!

Kylie kept trying to pet the puppies, even though her daddy didn't want her to ;>)

Sweet Reed! After Ryan and Keeley and the kids left P'cola, they went to Mobile, AL, so Reed could have a procedure down on his eye. It went well!! Many prayers were said on Reed White's behalf, he is such a miracle little boy!!!

Kylie Reese, she is probably the best baby I have ever seen! She is soooo content, it is amazing!

My son sliding head first down the slide into the tent full of balls, all I can say is "ALL BOY!!!!!"

This was the end result of Colin and Braden's tug-o-war of the shopping cart . . .

Uncle Sean thought Kylie would look good in Mrs. Potato Head's ear rings!

They matched her outfit perfectly ;>)

Colin is getting so much better at getting his haircut! He is awesome! We got it cut last weekend, he sat in my lap and was so still . . .Mrs. Stephanie was so proud of him!!!

The finished product! What a handsome boy!
(side note: I am having to wear my glasses because I have a corneal abrasion. I hoping to get back into my contacts this week! Fingers crossed!!!)

After being sick, you have to get outside and PLAY!!!

My son, the artist :)

Mama Dee thought Colin would like to have a rake just his size . . . too bad he thinks he is big! Here Pops, you can have this one!

Colin loves to organize, he gets that from his mama! He loves to put things into containers, he was taking the marbles in and out and in and out of the box and bucket!

We are on the mend now . . . praying that we, especially Colin Matthew, stay that way!!!
