Go Gators!!

Right before Thanksgiving, we went to our annual Florida football game (which myself and the kids haven't gone to because of sickness and having a new baby in 3 years ;) So this was Colin and Maddox's first Florida Gator football game!! We headed down to Gainesville on Friday afternoon and spent the night Friday and Saturday night for the game. Colin absolutely LOVED staying in a hotel, he could have just done that and been satisfied (its the same as kids love to play with the box a toy comes in more than the toy) The drive down wasn't that great but Colin and Maddox were the picture perfect of well-behaved children all day Saturday while we on the campus. We had awesome seats, the only negative was that we were sitting by the other team's band, which was somewhat noisy . . . . that didn't bother my kids, both of them fell asleep during the game and slept for 1 hour 15 min and 1 hour 30 min respectfully ;) They were awesome!!

Happy Birthday, Maddox Joanne!

Maddox Joanne is ONE!! I can't even wrap my head around this fact . . . my baby has grown way too fast. This year as flown by and it makes me kind of sad :( Maddox is the most precious baby girl, we are utterly and completely in love with this child! She is happy all the time, she is sweet all the time, but she does have the occasional sass that comes out (most of the time brought on by her brother ;) It's going to be interesting around here this next year, now that Maddox is walking and trying to talk and having an opinion, brother bear better watch out! We celebrated Maddox's birthday with a party at the park, it was supposed to be a sunny, windy day high low 70s . . . . but it ended up being cloudy, wet, super windy, and COLD! Even though the weather wasn't the best, the party turned out nice and we were grateful to everyone that came to celebrate. The cold and wind didn't phase the kids at all, they played hard!! Us adults were the wimps when it came to the weather ;) (The sun did come out at the very end of the party)
