Christmas 2008

25 wks and 4 days
Merry Christmas 2008
Colin started recieving gifts this Christmas. He was not here to open them so Mom and Dad got to do that honor. The boy is not even born yet and already he is spoiled and loved by so many! Thanks to everyone for the Christmas presents for Colin. He will be giving his "thank you"s out sometime in the next 14 wks ish :)
Monogrammed blanket from grandparents. The blanket is absolutely adorable with his name and an alligator. We loved this blanket!
Florida Gator sippy cup from grandparents. I am sure you can guess which ones! Go Gators!!!
New outfits: some that Sean and I could not resist buying ourselves and others from family. :)

We had to get both of these, who could resist the cute alligators! One play outfit and one church outfit.

3-D Photo Shoot

Colin Matthew White
On December 21 st, we had a 3-D ultrasound done on Colin. These pictures are amazing!!! You can see his features and get a small glimpse of what he will look like when he arrives. We can't really tell who he looks like. Some of the pictures look like Sean and some of them look like me. We will just have to wait and see in person. I was 24 wks and 6 days when these were taken. Colin is healthy and growing at a perfect rate. He is about 1 1/2 lbs right now. I am going to have another 3-D ultrasound in about 3 weeks. I will be 28 wks at this time and Colin will have some meat on him by then ;)
Colin loves to put his hands by his face!

"Stop taking my picture!"

This picture is weird but he is sticking out his tongue so funny at the same time. :)
What a sweet face!!!!
All scrunched up!
Both hands by his face.

Another weird one but his mouth is open! So cool, huh?!
He looks like he will have large lips.

23 wks!!!

I am 23 weeks. I went to the doctor for my check up today. Dr. Wallis check all my stats: weight, bloodpressure, and belly measurement. She checked Colin's heartrate, 150 bpm, which is wonderful! Dr. Wallis said that Colin and I are progressing nicely. Colin is moving a ton, but I am the only one who can feel him now. Dr. Wallis said in the next couple of weeks that you should be able to feel movement on the outside. Sean is excited about feeling Colin soon. I think he has been a little jealous of me, since I have been feeling him for a while now. One of the perks I guess! :) We are trying to get all of Colin's bedding ready for the semstress. Sean will be painting Colin's room during the Christmas break. We are excited to get the nursery together! We will keep everyone posted. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

22 wks!!! Colin is gowing!

I had an ultrasound last Monday. Here are the new pictures of Colin Matthew. Colin is gowing and so am I. Everything looked great on the ultrasound. Colin is progressing perfectly in everyway. Sean and I are so happy that our son is growing right on schedule! We are amazed at him, everytime we see an ultrasound. He moves constantly and loves to put pressure on Mom's back and bladder. I am sure he gets a kick out of this, just like his Dad does. What am I going to do with all these boys in my house? :) Enjoy the pics . . . .

19 weeks!!!!

Today we had an ultrasound and regular doctor's appoinment. The ultrasound went great! Colin was moving all over the place. He is sooooo active! I have been feeling him for about a week now. Since the last ultrasound I had 2 weeks ago, Colin has turned so that he is horizontal inside my belly. The ultrasound tech measured Colin's heat rate which was 147 bpm, his brain circumfurance, and the length of his leg, from all the measurements she determined that Colin weighs 9 ounces (on my last post I was incorrect with his weight). She then went on to tell us that this meant that I am farther along than we thought. So today I am 19 weeks and 1 day. My due date is April 6th. The doctor was about a week off when she first gave me a due date. No wonder I have been getting so much bigger. I am almost 5 months!!! We only have 4 months to go and Colin Matthew will be here! Enjoy the ultrasound pics and we will keep you posted. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! :)

This is a front view of Colin. You can see eyes, nose, and mouth.

He was looking straight at the camera today :)

Boy parts, again!

Colin's legs all stretched out and his little bottom.

Everybody think blue!!!!

It is a boy! AAAHHHHH! We are totally pumped!

It is a boy! Colin definatly was not shy! Colin's profile

Colin is possing for the picture, his hand is up by his face! What a ham!

Today the ultimate question was answered, boy or girl? It is a, drum roll please . . . . BOY!!!! Everybody think blue :) Well as you probably figured Sean is totally ecstatic! He has been smiling since we found out, and I am so very happy :) In addition to the ultimate question being answered, we can now reveal our boy's name: Colin Matthew White. We both have loved the name Colin for awhile and Matthew is Sean's middle name. He will be called Colin. My doctors appointment went great today. Dr. Wallis said that Colin and I were progressing nicely. We will be going back for an ultrasound in 2 weeks. Colin already loves the camera. During the ultrasound today he was putting on a show. He was kicking, punching, spinning, moving his mouth, putting his hands at his face, and giving the ultrasound tech a run for her money. He did not want to stay still long enough for her to messure him. He is about 4 1/2 inches and weighs almost a pound. The ultrasound was amazing! We could see his hands, arms, fingers, toes, legs, head, face, ears, nose, mouth, spine, and of course his boy parts ;) We will keep on updating with any news.

Our baby has a lot of stuff . . . 5 1/2 months to go!

Swing with ipod compalibility
Bouncy seat

Matress and crib railing

Crib sides

Changing table/dresser

13 wks & more . . .

Here I am at 13 weeks. I went to the doctor for my 3 month check up on Sept. 30th. Dr. Wallis checked all my vitals and the baby's heartbeat. I am doing great and so is the baby. Sean and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat throught the doppler micrphone that they put on my belly. The baby's heartrate was about 150 bpm. The doctor said that was wonderful! We loved being able to hear the heartbeat . . . our little boy or girl is already amazing us :)

We have also made a few purchases in the past few weeks. I was able to find gently used baby furniture that met my most high standards. I purchased a white crib and changing table/dresser. I absolutely love them both! We also purchased a swing that is ipod compatable (Sean loves that) and a bouncy seat. We are starting to get prepaired. Percy is getting used to these new pieces of furniture in the house, he is not sure what to think of all this. He will get used to everything, well he HAS to get used to everything! :)

We will be able to find out the sex of the baby in November. Once I have that info the decorating and painting will begin. I know that Sean is trilled to get to paint the nursery . . . We will keep you posted on any news.
