We started our spring break with the Easter Egg Hunt at Gateway. Colin and Maddox we super excited to hunt eggs, especially Colin, he was pumped!! The weather was beautiful and perfect for being outside, the only down side was the hunt was during nap time . . . which made Maddox a little grumpy. She wanted to be held a lot, but did get happy when it was time to go get the eggs and put them in her basket.
Colin was serious about getting those eggs!!

Colin was all about the Easter Bunny, but Maddox was NOT!!
During spring break we had a zoo day, at the Gulf Breeze Zoo, with our friends, the Swindles. Colin and Maddox loved the zoo, it was a perfect time to go lots of baby animals out to see. The only negative was a cold front had come through and it was 45 degrees and super windy!!! We made the best of it and had a blast :)
The kids were pumped about seeing and feeding the giraffe, with his long crazy tongue ;)

Feeding the birds at the zoo is always so cool. C and M were hilarious, they weren't bothered by the birds at all. Colin would get mad if they wouldn't land on him and take his food. The birds loved Sean and I, for some reason, we would have about 8 on us at once ;) The birds kept trying to climb in my pocket, we kept having to pull them out!!
The kids had fun making the Easter bunny cake and Pops and Dee's house. Maddox loved eating the icing!!
We also went shopping in Foley one day with Dee and Jo Jo, it was another cold and windy day. Maddox and Colin loved riding the carousel and playing on the play ground. That was the only reason we could get them to behave while we shopped ;)
