Church Camp

Mid July, we headed to Mississippi for Gateway Church Camp. We had a great week at camp this year. Sean and our youth group have had an awesome summer, the Spirit has been working on our kids! After camp the total baptism number for the summer was 22! That's right 22 new souls committed to Jesus, God is good :) The kids, Dee, and I headed to camp on Monday morning, Maddox had been sick so we decided she needed an extra day to feel better. She was over her sickness but the entire camp week, M was cutting another top tooth, she was in some pain and didn't feel that great. But she still was a great baby, other than sleep, the teeth really messed up her sleep and of course that means my sleep ;)

The kids were great about playing with Colin, he had them all playing superheros with him!

Thank goodness for the ipad!

Maddox snoozing :)

It rained a lot while we were at camp, but no worries Colin was prepared!

We all enjoyed some flavor ice, it was great for M's teeth!

Maddox Joanne is 9 mos! She is growing so stinking fast, it makes me sad :( She is crawling everywhere, pulling up on everything, she really laughs now & thinks her brother is too funny, she is so sweet & happy, she says mama, dada, bye bye, bubba which I think she is talking about her brother, she has 4 teeth, she is trying some finger foods, carrots and apples, she loves baby yogurt and her mum-mum rice cakes, she does well drinking water out of a sippy cup, she will play on the floor for a long time, we are so blessed to have this precious angel girl!

Swimming at camp!!

My mom was such a big help to me, she was the extra set of hands that I needed. She helped with meal, bath, and bed times. She would take Maddox, so I could play with Colin. She would take Colin, so I could love on Maddox. She would take both kids so that I could participate in some camp activities. She was awesome! Thanks so much Dee!!!!

Great camp post. You sure can see in all the pictures how much fun the kids had. What a blessing that I could help you!

I would have never considered going to youth camp with my hubby, but your post made it look possible AND enjoyable!
Your family is beautiful. I'm fixing to join you in the 2 kiddo world. I know it's going to be exhaustingly wonderful. I found your site on Nicole Mcclelland's blog. Gotta love the connections via blog world :)
