Colin and Maddox's first trip to Disney World- Jan 2014

Day 1 Traveling and Downtown Disney
We went to Disney World the first week of January. The kids were so excited and ready to see Mickey! They had been gearing themselves up anytime there was a commercial about Disney, someone would say anything about Disney World, or they would see Cinderella's castle at the beginning of any Disney movie . . . . They were totally pumped! (so were Sean and I, we may have been even more excited than C and M) Santa helped us out with "Mickey Bucks" for the kids to use at Disney.

Day 2 Magic Kingdom
Our first full day in Disney we went to Magic Kingdom. In my head I had this day all planned out, everything was going to go perfectly and my kids were going to be angels, but that was not what happened . . . . Apparently we picked one of the busy times to go to Disney World, especially to be at Magic Kingdom. We were there along with a billion other people and their double stollers :-/ Magic Kingdom wasn't letting anyone walk up and buy tickets, you had to already have purchased to be able to get in. I say all this to say that it was a rough day, we did maybe 15-20% of what we wanted to do at Magic Kingdom, and C and M were on sensory overload. But I just kept saying we are making "magical memories" whether you like it or not!!! And so we did . . . .

C & M loved meeting Cinderella and Aurora. They we so sweet to my babies, they talked with them and got down on their level. It was the sweetest thing! My kiddos ate it up :)

The Buzz Lightyear ride, the longest we waited to ride something . . . 45 mins and with our kids that was too long!!! So if the wait was 20 mins or we had a fast pass we rode it, if not we didn't! (the sad thing is that most things had over an hour wait)

Colin and daddy were awesome at racking up the points! Maddox and mommy not so much ;)

We meet Mickey! Colin and Maddox were so excited. C went right up to him and hugged and talked, but M decided she needed to run in the other direction. She did good from a distance, but she didn't want him to come near her. These pics are funny to me because I had to hold Maddox under the arms to keep her from taking off ;)

We decided after our sensory overload, we needed a break and a rest. We went back to the hotel for a while. Then we came back to the Magic Kingdom for the light parade. It was freezing so we had to buy the kids hats, we weren't really prepared for it to be so cold and windy!!!
I love their little hats :)

This is just a glimpse into the crowds we were dealing with . . .

I love the family Disney shirts. The rain ponchos looked so cute on Colin and Maddox. Colin really showed his excited in his smiles. He was the perfect age. You can see the excited in Colin and Maddox's eyes in these pictures. You made precious memories.
