Enjoying our summer

When this happens, mommy and daddy get really happy because Colin will actually be taking a nap with no fight ;) This boy is non-stop and still really needs a nap but fights it a lot of days. The days with no nap become hard around dinner time!

Maddox Joanne is in explore mode! She is constantly moving throughout the house. While she moves she is checking EVERYTHING out. She has already found the doggy door, Percy's food and water, any and all of her brother's toys, and whatever happens to be on the floor at that moments, like shoes . . . for some reasons she really loves to get a hold of shoes ;) 

Maddox is also pulling up on anything she can!

More summer fun!

During the July 4th week, Pops and Dee rented a boat at the beach. So we headed out for a day of boating, swimming, and beaching. It was awesome! We had a great time and Colin and Maddox did great. C had been boating before, but it was over a year ago. He was in hog heaven for sure. We picked up our boat at Quiet Water Beach and drove to a "private" beach near Fort Pickens. Along the way we came across a huge pod of dolphins, probably 10-15! It was so cool, we idled and watched them for at least 30 mins . . . everyone was amazed especially Dee and Colin ;) This was a great memory made for Colin!

July 4th

Sean was still in Panama during the 4th, so the kids and I hung out at Pops and Dee's. We swam and cooked out, we had a great day celebrating our country's freedom!! (we were missing daddy)
