The White Family: June is full of fun :)

Sean and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary with a little trip to Destin. It was nice to spend some quality time together without our kids (which we missed, especially me! it was the first time that I left Maddox over night). We had a great dinner at Fisherman's Wharf with a walk on the dock behind the restaurant, followed by frozen yogurt and a walk around the oulets, and then a 9:45 movie which we never do anymore. It was really weird to be up and out that late, we are so old ;>) Then next day we enjoyed a complementary breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe since SanDestin messed up our room reservation. It was an awesome breakfast which we didn't eat until 10:00!! Then we went to the outlets some more and Destin Commons for some shopping. This anniversary celebration was wonderful and so much fun. Sean and I have been so blessed in these past 6 years of marriage. I am so thankful to God for His continued out powering of love and blessings on us. We are in this for the long haul and try to make every minute count! We are best friends and really enjoy one and other which makes it all that much better!

I was happy to be able to snuggle my girl when we got back, and Colin was excited to try on daddy's new five fingers! We ended our anniversary weekend with dinner at Santino's with our babies.

Impact 2012

We headed to Nashville right after Father's Day for Impact. I was lucky to be able to bring Mary Beth to help me with the kids and be my extra set of hands. She was awesome and made the trip a lot easier. Bringing a 3 yr old and 8 mos old to Impact is not any easy task ;) We had to pack so much stuff because you never know what you'll need. The kids were good and we enjoyed our time there. We went one day and played with cousins and swam. This was Maddox's first time really enjoying the pool and now she loves it every time!

The food at Impact is hit or miss but the ice cream is always good!!

Colin really enjoyed anytime he got to spend with daddy. Trips like this are hard and good at the same time. It is nice to be where Sean is and be able to spend some time with him, but then when daddy has to go it is hard for C. He loves his daddy!!

We are always so glad to be able to see our Nashville buddies. Blake, Julie, and Emery came to hangout with us after dinner one evening. Colin and Emery ran around the student center and played while the grown ups visited. It is always so nice to be able to be with them, we just fall back into things like we see them every day. We love the Joneses!!! (Julie will be having Jones Baby Girl #2 the end of August) Jessie also came to see us one afternoon, her son, Sam, wasn't feeling well so she was only able to stay for a little bit. She really wanted to meet Maddox. I am so thankful for life long friends that God has blessed us with!

Maddox Joanne is 8 mos old!!

M has decided that in the past 2 wks she was going to just be a BIG girl, so she pulled herself up in her crib and now she does it constantly. She has started to eat puffs and baby biscuits and baby rice cakes. M took to eating pick up food so easily, I was totally impressed! She actually picks up the puffs and put them in her mouth one at a time, instead of cramming a fist full in. She is just took smart!

Maddox is also saying "mamamama" and "dadadada" and associating the word with Sean and I :) It is so sweet to hear her say!! She is such a beautiful and precious baby.
